Talking Heads^® can provide independent proof-reading services of any language, including English. We are happy to provide this service on a translated document even when we haven’t done the translating ourselves.

We apply our quality procedures in the same manner that we approach any project.

If you are considering having a document proofread, it can be difficult to estimate how long it will take – and therefore the cost. This is because until the linguists has looked at the document for around an hour, it’s hard for them to say how many potential errors there are and therefore how long it will take to rectify. As we are aware that it’s always helpful for you to have an idea of cost and time before we begin, we’ll happily take a document and provide a free appraisal first, so you can get an idea of what to expect.

We are aware that when looking at translated documents, one linguist’s opinion may differ to another, and neither will be incorrect. Our proofreaders will not change elements for the sake of it, or to fit it into their personal style, but will look at the targets / style you want to achieve and simply make the document perfect.
