Talking Heads^® is proud to continually provide an excellent service as standard. As a family run business we enjoy getting stuck in and delivering a really good service to all of our clients.
 
STANDARD SERVICE
As a minimum, all translations are carried out by a highly qualified linguist. If the document is to be used in the UK, a translator that lives in the UK will be sourced.

If the document is to be used outside of the UK, we will utilise the 'double native' system. At least 2 linguists will be used to capture a.) a subtle understanding of the English source text and b.) comprehensive knowledge of the target country and culture the text is to be used in.

CERTIFIED TRANSLATIONS
In some countries, translators can apply to become a 'certified translator' or a 'sworn translator', adhering to set standards and guidelines, therefore reassuring customers of a quality level that they can trust. In the UK companies (not individuals) can issue a 'certified translation' by providing a 'stamped' Certificate of Authentic Translation (CoAT) with the translated text. Talking Heads^® are able to provide this service that follows the ATC guidelines and is accepted by many organisations, such as the UK Border Agency, (www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk), The Identity and Passport Service (www.ips.gov.uk), etc.

Language is not a science - and two linguists can choose to translate something differently, with neither being incorrect. It often helps, therefore to have an extra proofread on your document if it is to be published internationally or for high profile purposes.
